Nurse Role – Qualevita, Amsterdam

The Nurse role at Qualevita, reporting to the Patient Care Manager, is pivotal for both in-patient management and enhancing patient experience. This position operates within our esteemed Anti-Aging Clinic, specializing in intravenous therapy and blood extractions. It supports innovative, patient-focused care while collaborating with clients to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Support

• Provide efficient, compassionate nursing care for patients undergoing intravenous therapy and blood extractions.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and reassured during their visits.
• Advocate for patients’ needs, tailoring treatment plans collaboratively with medical staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards.

Blood Extraction

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques to collect blood samples.
• Label, handle, and transport blood specimens following protocols and regulatory standards.

Intravenous Therapy

• Prepare and administer intravenous solutions and medications.
• Monitor infusion rates and vital signs, documenting patient responses accurately.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-therapy patient assessments, including medical history, vital signs, and allergies.

Patient Document Management

• Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure completion of required patient documentation (e.g., consent forms, medical history).
• Verify the accuracy of patient information for seamless operations.

Collection of Biomaterial Substances

• Collect various biomaterials (e.g., urine, saliva) for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure accuracy and patient comfort during the collection process.

Collaborative Teamwork

• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss treatment plans and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Degree in Nursing with an active nursing license in The Netherlands.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Certifications: CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), and First Aid (can be completed at Qualevita).
• Experience: Clinical background in healthcare settings, focusing on intravenous therapy and phlebotomy.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical documentation software.
• Key Traits: Empathy, compassion, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Experience Base
